About Us

Michael Wisher Hospitality Personnel was founded in 2001. We are one of the UK's largest suppliers of temporary labour to the hospitality, catering and event management sector. Our service covers the recruitment, training, onsite management and payroll function for clients, allowing them to concentrate on the delivery of a great event or sporting experience.

There can be up to 2,500 Michael Wisher staff operating at a given time. We have worked on some huge events  as well as much smaller private functions. Whatever your staffing requirement, Michael Wisher can help.

Michael Wisher Staff

A full time team of 12 located in our Nottingham and London offices. In addition, we have more than 7,500 multi-skilled temporary workers we call upon to act as our envoys across the UK in various roles.

All of our staff go through a strict and tested interview process to ensure we only employ the very best staff for your events. From bar staff to waiting staff, chefs to event hosts, we have the staff you need to make your event a success.

Michael Wisher Clients

Typically, we cater for large catering and hospitality organisations and venues across the UK who require carefully selected, trained and managed staff for short periods. Customers vary from the world's largest contract caterer to well-known sporting venues including Trent Bridge, Lord's Cricket Ground, Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium and Ascot. We were the largest single supplier of temporary staff to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The History of Michael Wisher

Michael Wisher’s career in hospitality began when, at age 16, he started working for Hilton Hotels. Since then, he has worked in every position it’s possible to work within the hospitality industry. In properties and businesses across the UK, Michael has tended bars, greeted guests as front of house staff, prepared food, waited tables, and managed teams.

Michael Wisher & Associates was formed in 2001, and over the years the business has sent professional teams of enthusiastic hospitality experts to some of the largest and most prestigious events across the UK.

We’ve gone from serving a single client at Donington Park race circuit to supporting a Formula One team with service staff across their European tour, and we’ve even deployed a team to serve a royal household in the United Arab Emirates.

Through it all, Michael Wisher has remained passionate about providing opportunities for young people to achieve their true potential. He’s an active board member for New College Nottingham; a governor for Chilwell School; and a member of the regional development board for the National Centre for Citizenship and the Law (NCCL).
