College & Universities Recruitment Days

College & Universities Recruitment Days

Many students are new to the world of work, and time spent as temporary event staff will equip students with a number of transferable skills.

Job fairs and Recruitment days

The Michael Wisher recruitment teams regularly attend job fairs, recruitment days, and other networking events at colleges and universities. We’ll bring our pop-up stand and some laptops so that students can fill out an application form with us there. We will have everything to get your students signed up and ready for work.

We treat these events as much more than a mere recruitment drive. In order to fully prepare them for the world of work, our reps will also be on-hand to field any questions your students might have. One of our temporary staff employees can also come along and give their first-hand experience too.

Student Workshops

We can also run CV building workshops, to make sure their CV is in great shape for the future. We can also run sessions that will help students to hone their interview technique so they are prepared for future job interviews.

Additional Skills Workshops include: Customer service, Bar and Waiting skills.

In short, we won’t just give your students a job. We’ll give them the sort of skills they’ll need to thrive in the world of work and beyond.

Through working with part of a close-knit team in order to make a high profile event a success, students will develop strong skills in communication, leadership, and customer service. Plus, the ability to keep their cool in a chaotic and ever changing environment is an asset that’s valued by employers in every sector.

Get in touch

We’re always looking for outgoing and enthusiastic students to join our team. No experience is necessary, as we will offer training.

In exchange, your students get a fantastic chance to build up some invaluable experience and get their foot in the jobs market. As well as the chance to meet new people, and to earn a good wage which is valuable if you’re a student.

So if you’d like us to come to your college or university and conduct a recruitment master class, get in touch. Let us know what sort of event you’re running, and what sort of presence you’d like us to have there – whether it’s a simple pop-up stand, or a series of workshops and training sessions.
